ST-80
The years of our R＆D on MC transformer has prevailed in a new design that delivers the sound with exceptional warmth and round tonal quality. It has a larger bobbin,more layers of permalloy core and more coil windings. The transformer is placed in anti-magnetic permalloy case which in turn is inserted in a robust 10mm thick aluminum cylinder bored out of a solid aluminum block.
The heavy metal case effectively isolates the environmental noise. The stability of the transformer is superb thanks to its 1.5kg heavy weight even when cables are attached. Its frequency range is 10Hz to 100 KHz with +/- 2dB and maintains the perfect flatness.
ST-5
This is the economical MC step-up transformer. Ortofon Japan desgined and manufactured ST-5. The quality of parmalloy coreand transformer container is made of Parmalloy, it is the same quality as the upper class of MC transformer.
ST-M25 Step-up transformer
ST-M25 is made exclusively for the users of CG25Di MkII and CG65Di MkII. The voltage
output of these cartridges is too low to connect to the MM -INPUT terminal of amplifiers or phono-equalizers, resulting in inadequate sound volume. ST-M25 is specially designed to increase volatge by 12dB to match MM input of the ordinary amplifers or phone-equalizers. These cartridges supply the same monaural sound from both L/R channels, therefore,L/R channels of the cartridges should be connected through ST-M25 and amplifer to the final output “speakers (L/R) ".
You can enjoy robust sound of monaural sound comming from L/R speakers.
Verto MC transformer
This is the newly developed MC transformer with completely new idea. This is bobbin-less transformer built up from two coils, each coil with one secondary winding surrounded by two primary windings. This structure results in an excellent frequency response. This transformer strip is made of “AMORPHOS” core material.
This type of core does not store energy ( unlike e.g. conventional mu-metal core) the low frequency resonance with external series capacitors is practically eliminated.
Sound is clear, transparent from low frequency to high frequency.

ST-10 MC transformer

- It has a right and left separate channel housed in a robust iron case that totally blocks out external noise .
